De fleste har en tendens til å tenke i den retningen; korrelasjon og kausalitet er det samme.. Men her er noen tankekors basert på faktiske korrelasjoner ;)

I Danmark fant en undersøkelse ut at jo flere storker det er i et område, desto flere barnefødsler skjer der per familie, altså må storken komme med ungene.

Desto flere brannmenn som prøver å slukke en brann, jo større blir brannen. Altså; brannmenn skaper brann.

Å sove med skoene på er sterkt korrelert med å våkne med hodepine. Altså får man hodepine av å sove med skoene på.

Når salg av is øker, øker også mengden dødsfall fra drukning. Is skaper altså drukning.

Samtidig som mengden pirater har fallt, har klodens globale temperatur økt. Global oppvarming er altså et resultat av for få pirater.

1) Japanere spiser veldig lite fett og har færre hjerteinfarkt enn Briter og Amerikanere.
2) Meksikanere spiser mye fett og har færre hjerteinfarkt enn Amerikanere og Briter.
3) Japanere drikker veldig lite rødvin og har færre hjerteinfarkt enn Amerikanere og briter.
4) Italienere drikker veldig mye rødvin og har færre hjerteinfarkt enn Amerikanere og Briter.
5) Tyskere drikker mye øl og spiser mye pølser og fett, men har færre hjerteinfarkt enn Amerikanere og Briter.

Konklusjon: Spis og drikk hva du vil, å snakke engelsk er tydeligvis hva som dreper deg.
